The fifth night of November in the year 1988 drew to a close as it had every year; with celebrations and fireworks all across Great Britain, though while everyone celebrated bonfire night the Cain family, all gathered around a small hospital bed in Newcastle, celebrated the birth of their first and -unbeknownst to them at the time- only son: Morgan Alexander Cain.

Boys are rather keen on saying they grew up as normal boys; played rugby, played football, got into fights with other boys… but that certainly was not the case for Morgan. When he was born his two older sisters figured they had a little doll to dress up, poke, prod and it only got worse as they got older with the addition of two other female Cains. Needless to say Morgan and his dad were greatly outnumbered and rather than fighting it, they gave in. On many nights they too were a part of Spice Girls sing-alongs and Morgan was more than happy to say he was usually Baby Spice- the one with some form of talent. Though while he hated playing sports, living in Newcastle football was religion so every weekend the entire family would head out to St. James Park to have their hearts broken by the Geordies high expectations for a mediocre club.

Music was never far from their lives, Helena Cain was a vocal coach who encouraged all of her children to take up music- whether it was singing or playing an instrument. His sisters older Marian and Lorena both played the piano and cello, the eldest would sit with Morgan on her lap and attempted to teach him chopsticks... it worked. By the age of five Morgan was playing piano, he wasn't a prodigy but when it came to "twinkle, twinkle little star" he was brilliant. His mother also noticed his talent vocally and took it upon herself to train him, by the age of nine he was performing in school productions of musicals and with his mum traveled to London quite often to watch the west end musicals.

When Morgan was fifteen his parents moved to the states, dragging along their three younger children. Morgan and his twin sisters fought it and complained whenever possible but in the end the change was nice and Chicago, Illinois wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. Their bi-yearly trips back home certainly helped keep them sane, their mother taught at a performing arts high school, which all three children attended as well, and that helped then adjust as well.

With no warning at all, on his graduation day, Morgan walked down the stairs with a backpack and a plane ticket and announced that instead of the graduation ceremony he was off to the airport for his epic adventure. A gap year which lasted twice as long and he rarely ever speaks of for one reason or another. He did enjoy himself, no one doubts that. Its the tiny, insignificant details that make a trip worth taking, and he refuses to share, which worry people. Upon returning, with a hand full of reccommendation, audition tapes and transcripts from school he applied for several universities and as replies started coming in he chose the one who offered the most. A full scholarship to study musical theatre... in Arizona.

quick facts;
IS a complete and utter Geordie; he is as proud as anyone could be to be from Newcastle and if the mood strikes him he might even sing a verse of the Blaydon Races for anyone who'll listen.
Morgan is the middle child and the only boy. He has four sisters (Marian; 28, Lorena; 25, Margaret; 18 and Lenore; 18) all of which he is convinced are minions of Satan and he, as it is, just happens to be fighting for the side of good against those wretched demons. No seriously... he adores them.
His family spent their summers traveling through the states and when Morgan was 15 they moved to Chicago, Illinois.
After graduating from a performing arts high school in Chicago Morgan took a gap year... which lasted 2 and a half years. He back packed through Europe and played around with the Maori in New Zealand.
When he returned to the states he applied to several colleges. He ended up in Phoenix, Arizona because Arizona State University offered him a full scholarship and that seemed pretty sweet.
Hates the heat, hates the desert, hates any and everything that would make him sweat more than he normally would... yet he lives, goes to school and works in a city in the middle of the desert.
Adores everything 60s musically, Liza Minnelli, musicals, girls that aren't complete and utter mindfucks, ninjas, nyquil, zombies, traveling, pizza, guitars, classical music, classic rock, high e above middle c, muse, n-dubz (because he is entitled to enjoy a shit, british hip hop act), and lily allen.
